James Baldwin said that “the role of the artist is the same as the role of the lover. If I love you, I have to make you conscious of the things you don’t see.” And the things you don’t see are often within your own heart, and I can’t see them either. But art is the key to the things you aren’t yet aware of. The things inside yourself so golden and glowing, full of colors and everything you need to be free.
